Readdle today released a new addition to its giant collection of productivity apps for iOS with the debut of Spark. Spark is described in short as “fast and smart email for your iPhone” while its core features include tons of customization options and intelligent notification and filtering options that help take the stress out of email. Though Spark is only the latest third party email app to land on the iPhone, it is the first solid email client I’ve used on the Apple Watch so far....

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa and Joe Giudice have announced their split after 20 years together. The couple has had a particularly trying couple of years, and with Joe having recently been deported to Italy, the split doesn’t come as a complete surprise. Joe and Teresa Giudice have been featured on The Real Housewives of New Jersey since the popular Bravo show premiered back in 2009, and the couple has been married since October of 1999....

Teresa Giudice, of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is apprehensive about her reunion with her estranged husband Joe. She made the disclosure during a scathing tell-all on Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen moderated a sit-down conversation between the couple. Teresa appeared in-studio, while her recently deported husband joined the discussion from a location in Italy. Redbox Instant, Verizon’s subscription-based streaming TV app, now allows you to stream some content to your Apple TV via AirPlay. However, if Engadget‘s experience is anything to go by, don’t expect too much from it. It’s apparently limited to streamed rather than downloaded content, and will stop playing when you receive many iOS notifications, like text messages. Redbox Instant was launched at the end of last year as a Netflix competitor, offering unlimited streaming plus four DVD rentals for $8/month....

Apple revealed a ton of new software yesterday including iOS 12, tvOS 12, watchOS 5, and macOS 10.14 Mojave. While most expected a fairly boring and quiet release, Apple actually unpacked a ton of new features across all of its major platforms. The full video can be found below. Apple typically releases their keynotes roughly 24 hours after it happens so this is no surprise. iOS 12 was mainly focused on bug fixes and performance enhancements, especially on older devices....

Toward the end of Myspace’s social networking reign years ago, it was the “go-to” site for musicians to create a quick page to promote their music and promote gigs. Even after being lost in the shadow of Facebook, it has remained popular among musicians. True to those roots, it will continue to that trend and connect artists with their fans. Apple has long been rumored to be interested in creating its own original video content for Apple TV users. Earlier this year, the company announced its first original TV show that will focus on the “app economy” and feature music artist Will.i.am. Fast Company today reports, however, that this series is only the very beginning for Apple when it comes to in-house video content. After a series of meetings at the Sundance Film Festival, Apple executives are said to have been in Los Angeles hearing pitches for a variety of original TV series....

Following last month’s release of HomePod, which puts Siri inside of a $349 smart speaker, Apple appears to be ramping up Siri hiring. According to hiring data tracked by Thinknum, job openings for Siri-related positions at Apple are at an all-time high… Apple’s job listings indicate that it currently has 161 openings for jobs that contain the term “Siri” in their title or description. Ever since I upgraded from an 11″ MacBook Air to a 13″ Retina MacBook Pro, I’ve been hunting for the perfect hybrid computer and camera bag — a compact backpack that could hold my laptop, DSLR, lenses, and accessories at the same time. Six months ago, I covered several MacBook/camera bags from Incase, including the DSLR Sling Pack I’ve loved for years, and larger “Pro” options for bigger laptops. Leather love! Like Samsung, LG too has made a material change when it comes to design – literally. Rob Zombie has come a long ways as a filmmaker in the horror genre and his messy brand of horror films have even earned him a spot within the genre’s “Splat Pack” collective. It may have taken some time for Rob Zombie to gain respect as a filmmaker, but he’s been making movies for nearly two decades at this point and he’s cultivated a real style across his filmography. Young Elton John ends a relationship (badly) in our exclusive deleted scene from Rocketman. Rocko’s Modern Life is known for its satirical social commentary, but it took it one step further with the special Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling movie by actually mocking itself. Nickelodeon’s cartoons back in the 1990s got away with a lot of not-so-subtle adult jokes and themes that made them popular not only among children but grown-ups as well. In the current era of reboots, Nickelodeon is reviving some of these old properties, including Joe Murray’s Rocko’s Modern Life, which got a TV special/movie distributed by Netflix....
