The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe Giudice’s bond request has been denied, and he is now facing deportation. The Italian native never took the time to become a United States citizen in all of these years being in America.

In 2013, both Joe and Teresa were indicted for filing a false bankruptcy report, trying to claim they had lost their money so they could continue to hide their wealth. Joe had also been indicted by the US Government for failing to file tax returns between the years of 2004 and 2008. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months behind bars which she served before Joe with the understanding that he would go to jail directly upon her release. The housewife was released from federal prison after only having served 11 months.

The judge has made a ruling in the Giudice case - the Italian native’s request was denied. The 49-year-old had put in a request to be freed on bond from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement since he had been held since his release from Federal prison. With this ruling, Joe will be facing impending deportation back to his home country of Italy. With the judge’s ruling, he will not be allowed to return home to his family while he continues to wait for a final decision. Even though the family lawyer argued that husband and father of four should be released for time served, the prosecutor believed Joe to be a flight risk, and due to his past criminal activity was not eligible for release.

The reality star legally has 30 days to appeal the decision that was recently handed down, but many believe that it is highly unlikely he will go down that route. A source from Radar Online said that after the judge rendered his decision on Friday it was believed that Joe would out in a request to be deported immediately because he was over living in a prison.  The source said that living in the detainment center had brought down his spirit and he would just want to start his life in Italy sooner, rather then later as he is afraid the government will let him rot away.

The original bond hearing occurred on September 11th and papers reported that Joe looked sickly and had lost a lot of weight. Joe was not allowed to physically attend the hearing and appeared via a video feed. He had been in custody since March and was hoping to be allowed home. It is hard to say what will happen to the Giudice family as Teresa made it very clear she would divorce him if he were to be deported. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has also been spotted in Greece with a younger man, sparking suspicion that she has already moved on. One thing is for sure though, the United States Government is not joking when it comes to filing false taxes.
